Pune City Connect is a nonprofit organization working with the slum and low-income communities of Pune. We are working towards eradicating the digital divide and creating opportunities for growth and well-being.
We work with Governments, Corporates, and Nonprofits to run three different programs online and through digital Empowerment centers. Our programs are:
Lighthouse: Skilling and Livelihood program for urban disadvantaged youth. Our 8 lighthouses in Pune have trained 12,000 youth from 350 slum communities.
Digital Empowerment: Digital literacy program to enable 100% digital empowerment in Pune. So far, 52,000 citizens have been trained across low-income communities of Pune city through physical centers and virtual classes.
Quality Education: Education program to enable children and teachers’ full potential at Marathi medium Municipal Schools in Pune. As of today, 1,300 teachers and 2700 students have been part of this program.
